My wife's 40th birthday gift was a Nissan convertible that I searched the whole continental USA for. I finally found a car in Austin, Texas and needed it shipped to Pennsylvania on VERY short notice. I ultimately decided that I wanted to go with a company that assured me that the vehicle would make the trip in 3 days in order to make it to my house on (or before) my wife's birthday.

One company, Fast Auto Transport, promised they could get it to me in the time frame I needed. I offered DOUBLE the going rate ($1200). So I placed my job with Fast Auto Transport and was told that it the vehicle would arrive on time. NIGHTMARE ensued: the trucking company assigned to my job (TEMO Transportation) would not answer their phone, and I called them at least 15 times over the course of the 2 days. The Nissan Dealer in Texas was never contacted regarding pickup. Almost 2 days worth of emails voice mails, and phone calls to Fast Auto Transport... Nobody would pick up the phone there all of a sudden, my emails went unanswered. Got one phone call the next morning from Freddy saying "I think the truck broke down and needs repairs, but they are still going to make it on time." After that, no more communication from them, even thought I was frantically calling and emailing them. I finally sent an email that said "Cancel my order immediately, I'm going with someone else. That did get a two line email response of "OK, sorry it didn't work out." But, the email response came from a Company called Speedy Auto Transport, NOT Fast Auto Transport... What's going on, I thought... this isn't even the company I placed the order with. I went back to the Fast Auto Transport website and tried to send a message via the website- not able to do it because it was "out of service". My guess is this is a "front" website for the actual parent company which is "Speedy Auto Transport"??? Now, I was really behind the 8 ball, having only 3 days left to get this gift to my house in time. In desperation, I called another company.

I was very disappointed that once my credit card number was given and the job was posted, that the customer service was so poor. I had 5 days to get the car transported, and needed timely and responsive customer service, and I had explained ALL of this to Freddy the Owner at the time I gave my consent for this job to be posted. Instead, I got the sinking feeling that I was getting scammed, particularly when the website was de I got an email from a totally different company regarding my order.
