This is the first time I have ever arranged for vehicle transportation. The only info I started with were a few recommendations (and horror stories) from friends regarding their experiences with vehicle transport in general. Went online and discovered this website (Transport Reviews). Read many reviews for Specialty Mobile Systems and decided to take a chance. It was a great decision. Dee Taylor at Specialty Mobile Systems went out of her way to oversee every detail of the arrangements to transport my mother's minivan from FL to MI. She was patient with my numerous questions and understanding about my concerns. She lined up a carrier -- Tony Holtz Trucking, of Onstead, MI -- and worked with me and Holtz Trucking to make outstanding arrangements: Holtz picked up my mother's minivan on a Thursday, the day before her flight from FL to MI. The driver of the truck, Brendon Holtz, son of the owner, called my mother the day before to arrange a convenient location and time for pickup, as my mother's street cannot accommodate a big rig. Mr. Holtz was at that location the next day within 5 minutes of the arranged time. He was very polite to my mother (a senior) and explained how he would call her the day before he planned to deliver the vehicle to her in Michigan. He indicated he would deliver the car that Monday. Sure enough! He called the day before to arrange a time and delivered the vehicle that Monday -- no damage, not dirty. That's just 4 days! And, Dee called me to follow up and make sure the vehicle was delivered as arranged and to make sure that I was totally satisfied with the service provided by both Specialty Mobile and Tony Holtz Trucking. This was absolutely one of the best experiences I've had in working with any company. They did exactly what they stated they would do and acted in a professional and courteous manner. With Dee, I felt like I had a "guardian angel" watching over my mother's vehicle -- Thank you Dee! I hope your managers know what a great employee you are!
