I moved a 1967 Mustang from Georgia to northern California:
When looking for a transport company, I didn't want to entirely book something online without ever speaking to a person at the company. I called several other places and never got a return phone call. Specialty answered the first try and were very pleasant on the phone - they asked me to fill out the online form to get it going, but at least I knew they had human beings working for them and were available.
I first called on a Monday to get the deal going. They contacted me several times to inform me of progress finding a truck. When they found one (in 2 days) they gave me a pickup window of Saturday-Monday. The truck actually showed up Tuesday morning, so 1 day after the window. I wasn't in a hurry, so it wasn't a big deal. They said expect around 10 days but it showed up the next Tuesday, just 7 days.
My car was a little dirty, but nothing more than you'd expect from a 3,000 mile journey, just road dust. Customer service was very pleasant, truck drivers (different driver at pickup and delivery) were courteous and friendly. Total cost $1095. $195 up front on credit card, $900 in cash on delivery.
