Specialty Mobile Systems took my order and in approximately a week, "American Auto Express LLC" picked the car up. They had an extra seat, and didn't mind dealing with a Non-Op car magazine project car I had to have sent across the country. Specialty Mobile Systems did what they were supposed to and live up to the reputation this web site has given them.

Nick and Carmen, a husband and wife team handled the car like true pros, and provided me an e-mail address as well as a phone number that they would answer while on the road. The car had issues of its own, and the pair took their time trying to remedy a situation most drivers would have left for me to deal with (IE, a window that refused to stay up, and a tire that died at the end of the trip). The called me hours before they were to arrive, and did again right before reaching their appointed destination.

I have no complaints and would offer up some advice to anyone unfamiliar with the process. 1) Remember that in nearly all cases you won't be dealing with the company you call. They only take your order. 2) Remember that these people are driving 10 +/- car transports and expecting them to deliver to anything except a large parking lot is asking A LOT. 3) I provided photos of the delivery area and road-side view of the last stop light that showed land marks. This aided Nick and Carmen a lot!! You might consider the same. 4) Your car WILL arrive dirty if you use an open transport. If you don't like dirt, pay the cost of a closed transport and keep your petty complaints to yourself. Washing your car is your responsibility, not theirs.

Huge thanks to both Specialty Mobile Systems and American Auto Express LLC.
