As a military family, we were moved to the west coast. I had initially contacted another carrier, only to be left high and dry with a no show and was forced to drive my car across the country. I happened across this website and read the excellent review of SMS. I contacted Don Ferris at SMS and told him that even though I was forced to drive cross country, I needed to schedule my wife's van transport (this time with 2 months notice). He was exceedingly helpful and even offered to try to find someone last minute for me, after learning of the horrific experience with the other carrier.

My wife was contacted a week before her scheduled pick up and arrangements were made. Most transport companies are carriers and brokers. I asked that SMS arrange for atleast a carrier that would handle the car from door to door. In that they met and exceeded our expectations. The driver made it across country in 6 days and was able to find us and deliver the car. It arrived in good condition and the driver had the integrity to keep control over the vehicle the entire time and not just dump it at some terminal.

Again, kudos to SMS and Don Ferris and the good guy Morris Carter (aardvark transport).

I recommend them highly.
