A Very Professional Operation

I was very suspicious of all the claims and sorting out the horror stories made my decision very difficult. Who do you trust and how do you determine who to pick. I read Specialty's reviews and decided to give them a call. I spoke to Don Ferris at Specialty and after he patiently answered every question for over 30 minutes I had a good feeling about Don and his company. In retrospect, Specialty is lucky to have Don as the main spokesperson because he has a very easy going demeanor that makes you feel that you are in good hands.

From beginning to end, Specialty provided superb service and up date accurate information. The people who picked up the car from me in downtown Manhattan, NY. arrived at the designated pick up spot on time and handled the pick up professionally. I was give a damage report to compare with the drop off condition of the car.

About 5 days later I called Specialty for an update and within an hour of my call told me that my car was in the midwest and would be delivered to my daughter at her college campus in California on the following Saturday. I called my daughter and told her to call me when it arrived. By early afternoon New York time on Saturday my daughter called me to say she got the car from the transporter as promised on her college campus and that it was in the exact condition as it had been at pickup. She was thrilled to have her car back.

I immediately called Specialty to thank them and spoke to Don again to express my thanks. He humbly accepted my praise. One more thing. Specialty offers for a small premium the ability to charge the whole cost of the trip to your credit card eliminating the need to present a bank check at delivery. Very convenient.
