I have never shipped a vehicle before and needless to say, I was apprehensive and concerned. I had requested that a number of firms submit proposals and after receiving at least seven or eight, I was ready to make a decision. I then received a call from Don Ferris who told me that he had an enclosed carrier that would be leaving the West Coast within a few days and that he'd be able to accomodate the corvette I had recently purchased. I was impressed by his demeanor and apparent sincerity and after checking out his company's rating on this site, we negotiated a price that I found to be very attractive for an enclosed carrier. He gave me his driver's name, Jeff Banks, and Jeff's cell phone number. Don told me I could call him at any time...and I did. Jeff notified me and the seller of the vehicle of the date an time he'd be at the seller's residence to load it. He was there on time and was very courteous.

I chatted with Jeff several times as he was enroute across the country and there wasn't one time that he was irratated or upset with me. He kept me informed and when he was about an hour away from my residence he called to notify me of his eta. I can't say enough about his congeniality and willingness to be of assistance.

The car was delivered in perfect condition and it didn't even have any road dust on it.

I can't say enough about the service and responsiveness of Don and Amy and of their driver, Jeff. I would not hesitate to use Specialty Mobile Systems again or to recommend their services to anyone.
