Good Broker, Okay Carrier

Specialty Mobile was always available to help me. Unfortunately the carrier that accepted the gig, was not as easy to contact. Originally supposed to deliver around the 19-20th of Sept, got delayed until the 26th. Driver never called us or Specialty to update the status. Had no idea what was going on. Was being delivered to a company, so we had staff on hand to help get the disabled vehicle into the lot, had to pay them extra. Only ONCE during the whole transaction did I get a call from the dispatch of the Carrier (not Specialty Mobile).

Also, small detail: Was originally told to get cash to pay the driver, then dispatch told me to get a certified check. I guess the Carrier was West End Street Limited. They apparently dropped it off at a tow company which dropped it off at our address. The tow company was great, and very helpful though.

Sum up:
Specialty Mobile, very helpful, delayed shipment was out of their hands... but always willing to help A+++

Courier: (west end street ltd?) Not so great, poor communication, only updated me once, personally, Had to be contacted daily to find out what was going on with the vehicle. B-

Car was a 67 galaxie convertable, non-running condition, a "Fixer-upper". So if there was damage done during transit, I would have no idea....
