I worked with John at Sonic Auto Transportation. I am a real customer and this is a real experience. Let me start with saying that Auto shipping is a very strange and seemingly unscrupulous industry. I felt like I was scammed and husseled by a few other Auto transport companies. Like many of you probaly have done, I called and filled out a shipping request online, after a Google search, and was bombarded by several shipping companies. These unreputable people/companies had what appearded to he questionable rarings and reviews to put things bluntly. They also tried to request unreasonable, large deposits and one company took my deposit and then on "pickup" day they canceled my "pickup" and tried quoting me a much larger fee to ship. They quoted me one price and posted double price amounts quoted on the shipping job board. Ine of their competitors sent le screen shots if the posts in hopes I woul pick them over the other shipper. This was all crazy experiences and very scary because I wanted my truck shipped safely and could not afford to get scammed out of this much money, or worse, scammed and lose my truck. This was absolutely not the case with Sonic Auto Transport. John was 100% professional and tranaparent throughout the entire process. He found me a reputable transporter at a fair price. The transporter shipped my Ford F150 nearly 1000 miles and my truck arrived safe and sound in a timely manor. This was from Atlanta Georgia to Northern Iowa in the middle of January in the snow and winter weather.
The driver did not try to hassle me or upcharge me upon arrival to my house. The price was exactly what John quoted. I payed John at Sonic Auto the upfront deposit and then I paid the transport driver cash upon arrival. This process went down EXACTLY how John described. I am EXTREMELY happy with my experience an 1000% would recommend using John and Sonic Auto Transportation for shipping your vehicle. If and/or when I need something shipped in the future, I am calling John at Sonic Auto Transportation for all my shipping needs! A+++++++ and Gold Star service! I HIGHLY recommend.
