Quoted Price means nothing, they WILL increase it!

Just like every other 1 star review here.. They give you a quote, then when it comes down to it, they will tell you there is no way to ship it for that price. My quote was $820 ($100 deposit that goes to Sonic Auto Transport + $720 to the driver upon arrival). After signing the contract, I called and texted for 5 days with no reply. After finally getting in contact with my agent Chloe Miller, she said the last driver cancelled and claimed to not know why. Then she called me and said they could do it for $1750 (YES, over DOUBLE the price in the contract). I said no, I signed a contract for $820, call me when you can ship the car for the agreed upon price. Then she called back and said they could do it for $980. I asked if the deposit was the same, and the cost of the driver increased, and she said she didn't know and it was all computer generated automatically. Low and behold I end up signing the revised contract for $980. Then I get an email stating $280 deposit, $700 to the driver upon arrival. SO all this BS about not being able to find a driver for that price, then trying to double my price, is a SCAM. It has now been proven that Sonic is strictly a broker who dishonestly increases their profits while giving less to the actual driver. This is bad business and morally wrong, but they sure are professionals and very good this! Of note, my car did get delivered in good condition, but this was done by the truck, trailer, and driver that are not affiliated with Sonic Auto Transport.

Dear Customer, As per our records, we never attempted to assign a carrier for $1700 for you. We did have this price as an option, but luckily your shipping agent Chloe managed to negotiate with a different carrier and he accepted the load for $980. As per our brokerage commission, we have a fixed one - it depends on an agreement with a carrier company. the $280 that we charge as a partial deposit is a guarantee of reservation of a spot that covers fees, taxes, and insurance. It is the brokerage commission. We apologize that the process didn't go smoothly but we are glad the vehicle was delivered safely. Thank you for your feedback!
