Not much else to say. I was shipping the vehicle from a rural location and was quoted and signed a contract for approximately $785.00 and was contacted a few days before shipping to let me know that there were no shippers who were willing to do it for that price because it was a rural area. I told Chester, my agent at sonic, that I was disappointed that the price might be different than the contract and that I found this out so late in the process. Luckily, I had a little bit of flexibility as far as dates went and Chester was able to take his time and find a shipper that was willing to go out there for only $100.00 more. Would I have preferred to pay the original amount, yes. Did I understand, yes. Anyway, in the end we figured it out and Sonic was still cheaper than all but one of the 8 shippers I got quotes from. The driver was professional and got my car 1/3 of the way across the country in about 3 days with good communication throughout the process.
