Should have listened to my gut. I read they will bait and switch... sure enough. Called Alison Thompson with Sonic and sent an email three days before pickup to verify and make sure I do my part. Friday the 8th of January I called to confirm pickup on Monday, she stated no issues the driver will call when on his way. Monday comes and I call just to make sure all is good. Allison said no issues and she will call the driver. She calls back with "oh so sorry the driver said his truck broke down and she will find another". Thirty minutes later she calls back and tells me she can still have picked up today but it is now $450.00 more. I reminded her of our initial conversation, which I explained I had read they padded the cost or try to charge more for pickup and delivery and I was not going to have any of that. She assured me that would not happen. Well she lied. Now I had to go find another transport. It is costing me more and the difference is $400.00. Was not going to give Sonic the satisfaction of getting my money. BEWARE VERY DISHONEST!!!

Dear Randy, please accept our sincere apologies. Right now we are experiencing a hard situation because of Covid 19. But our shipping agents are doing their best to prevent all the inconvenience. Hope that you will give us a second chance to get you a driver for the most reasonable price. We made sure to talk to Alison and she is really sorry for this situation and she keeps working to assign you a carrier.
