This company is a joke with atrocious customer service. The up front "look" of their website is very professional but does not reflect the their true nature. I had a need for a specialized shipment of a classic vehicle in an enclosed trailer. Shiplux was quick to schedule the pickup, however they merely brokered out the transport to another company which turned into a nightmare and the end of their customer support. In trying to coordinate the vehicle pickup with the seller of the vehicle at the the point of origin, the truck was was days past the scheduled 3-day pickup window and also required the seller to load the vehicle in the middle of the night. Transit time was also longer than advertised with the vehicle being transferred between multiple transports and left in the outside in a storage yards in the weather defeating the purpose of paying for enclosed transport. Shiplux's advertised 24/7 customer support amounts to a recorded answering service and no call backs. If you do manage to actually get a hold of someone, they will merely tell you they need to call the driver and then never get back to you. Even better, after calling to try to coordinate drop-off and only getting the voice mail, I called back immediately on my wife's phone and they eagerly answered--apparently a new caller ID was another potential sap so it was worth answering. When I said I wanted to get an update on my shipment, they said they needed to call the driver and hung up without even asking who/what the inquiry was about. There was also damage incurred to the vehicle but since they brokered the job out, they wouldn't honor their own 100% insurance coverage policy and it became a pissing match of who was actually liable. The only saving grace of this ordeal is that the actual carrier was noted by the seller at the origin so I could work directly with them on the delivery. For their part Shiplux only made the situation frustrating and added zero value. My recommendation would be to avoid them unless you need a boost to your blood pressure.
