Car shipped from 1 repair shop to Volvo dealership

Ship Your Car Now called me almost immediately after I requested shipping quotes online. I had never experienced auto shipping before and really knew nothing about it. The representative was very patient and explained the entire process to me. My daughter's Volvo was available sooner than we thought, but that was no problem for Ship Your Car Now. I even changed the drop-off location from a residence to a dealership. Still no problem. The ONLY problem I had was figuring out how to pay cash, cashiers check, or money order to the transport driver upon delivery at the Volvo dealership. My daughter could not get a cashiers check or deliver it to the driver. I was in another state, so I couldn't help. At first the Volvo dealership told me that they couldn't help me out. For several hours I was very stressed trying to figure out how to pay the driver. Ultimately the service manager at the Volvo dealership suggested that they pay the transport driver and put that amount on our repair bill. Problem solved! My only suggestion is that the auto transport drivers have the ability to accept credit cards much like taxi drivers. I would have been willing to pay a little more so that the driver wouldn't have to pay the merchants' fees if I had that credit card option. But that is the decision of ALL auto transport drivers; NOT auto shipping companies like Ship Your Car Now. Ship Your Car Now treated me with courtesy and helpfulness. I will definitely use them again and suggest Ship Your Car Now to family and friends!
