Pickup took too long

We bought an antique truck from an individual in Napa, California, and our customer service representative, Meredith A, was very pleasant to work with. None of our complaints are directed at her- she was courteous and professional throughout the many days she had to deal with the delay.
We hired the company Dec. 16 for pickup after Dec. 18. On Dec. 19, Meredith found a driver to pick up "today or tomorrow"- within an hour, that driver canceled (we were told they had to go help another truck that had broke down). Then, we waited, and waited. It got close to Christmas, so then we had to wait through the Holidays. We'd paid for the truck Dec. 18, but had no title in hand, so for us, the waiting seemed quite long and stressful. On Dec. 26, another driver agreed to pick up "today or tomorrow" but never called and never showed. We did get a hold of the dispatcher, but she just stalled, and the driver never picked up the phone, answered any texts, and did not have a voicemail set up. At that point, we had to wait through the New Years' weekend.
On January 2nd. Ship-a-car canceled with that driver and did find us a new one, who would pick up "today or tomorrow." At that point, we pretty much had given up and, if we had another non-pickup/non-communication from driver, we would have canceled completely and my husband planned on taking vacation from work so that he could drive the 27 hours there to get the vehicle himself. Finally, though, we had a dependable driver who did pick up our vehicle as promised and did deliver 5 days later to our location, as promised.
As stated previously, we were happy with our representative, Meredith, and her communication- however, I'm not sure I would recommend the company due to the major delay and non-communication by drivers.
