Having never transported a vehicle by truck before, I had tried the sites that let you put in your information to get several quotes. I was overwhelmed by the number of emails and phone calls from companies telling me why I should use them. After checking them out on www.transportreviews.com, I realized most of these companies, with the lowest quotes, were also the ones with the worst ratings. I'm glad I checked this site out. So I did my own research through this site and found Shank Brothers. I contacted John at Shank Brothers for a quote to transport a Jeep from NY to NC. Knowing they had their own trucks and that they were located in NY, I was hoping to get a good deal. I was pleasantly surprise at the quoted price of only $500, granted that we meet the truck at their local pick-up place, which I was planning on doing anyway to keep my cost down. John was in contact with me daily as we worked out the details. The drop-off was simple, and their driver Dave was very nice and helpful. Dave and John stayed in touch with me and the drop off couldn't have been easier. Thanks guys for a stress free experience.
