This is my first experience with needing this service. I signed up to use Mercury Auto Transport on 3/30/2012. I was told it should take about 4 days to locate a driver for my transport of my Sienna van from Virginia to Spokane, WA. After a week of not hearing anything I called to check on it. More sphell!!!!! by 4/23...still no word. Called to check on it again and was told that the broker who had listed my transport no longer worked there!!!!!!!!!! Why didn't someone tell me that??? So, I canceled my list with Mercury and consider them inept. I started to read reviews again and came across a review made by Shank Brothers Auto Transport. They had been crapped on too and misery loves company so I called them. John Shanks was most courteous and explained many things to me that I had not previously been informed of.....like how most carriers would rather NOT take the bigger vehicles and don't acknowledge my listing. And...he did not want ANY money or credit card number up front!!! He made no promises...only that he would do his best. It took about 4 days for John to find a carrier for me. No one was interested when it went on the board so he began callling companies and found one (Auto Star Transport, Inc.). My van was picked up exactly on time by professional drivers and was delivered in only 5 days.

I am extremely grateful to Shank Brothers for helping me get my van to my daughter. I will remember them and if I need these services again, I will definitely call them.
