Transport of 2010 Honda Odyssey EX from FL to CA around Thanksgiving holidays went exceedingly well thanks to John Shank and Shank Bros Auto Transport. I originally had contracted with DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) but they couldn't even adhere to the contracted pick up date. The van was to be picked up on a Saturday and by Monday, DAS couldn't even explain why the van wasn't picked up yet and didn't apologize or attempt to remedy the situation. The DAS Supervisor response was simply "I don't know what you want me to do??." So after that ....I found this transport review.com website and after reviewing a lot of reviews, I called Shank Bros Auto Transport.
The mini van was picked up the very next day and made it to CA in 8 days .. not bad given Thanksgiving fell right in the middle of those 8 days. I requested top load given the car was barely used and in excellent condition and we wanted it to remain that way. The van was delivered in exactly the same condition. (just dusty from the drive, which is to be expected).
What I really appreciated though is John Shank's customer service. He knew of my previous experience and made sure he arranged transport with a 4 star transport company. He also kept me up to date with phone calls and emails - and I'm talking every step of the way. John even called my parents directly in CA to let them know of the delivery status. By doing that, John took control of the situation and ensured a stress-free process. He made sure the transport driver, my parents, and myself were all on the same page.
I highly recommend Shank Bros Auto Transport for anyone needing a trustworthy person to shepherd you through the transport industry and assist with the process of transporting a valuable item.
