Very Disappointed

I carefully researched, read reviews and chose to contract with Sea Land Auto a month and half before the vehicle was to be transported to the San Diego Convention as a centerpiece to the floor exhibits. I contacted Sea Land a number of times prior to the pick up date to ensure all was in order and was reassured it was. 15 minutes before departing my office on Friday afternoon, I received a call from the subcontracted carrier that my vehicle was too tall and would not fit in the enclosed truck. This was after I had provided not only detailed dimensions, but also a picture of the vehicle to Sea Land. I was unable to reach anyone at Sea Land until after 5 PM and was informed they would try to find another carrier, but that I should look for one on my own. Left high and dry, I spent the weekend making calls with little hope and dreading having to tell my boss that the "star" of the show may not make it. Late Sunday afternoon CSL Auto Transport came to my rescue. The vehicle is on its way, thanks to CSL. I will not get my weekend backand. I have never written a negative review, but I have never been so disappointed in what is supposed to be a reputable, professional company.

PLEASE REFER TO OUR INDUSTRY STANDARD SHIPPING AGREEMENT. WE HAD SCHEDULED A DRIVER FOR PICK UP AND DELIVERY OF THIS VEHICLE. CUSTOMER MISREPRESENTED THE VEHICLE BY GIVING US WRONG INFORMATION ABOUT THE CAR. THE DRIVER SHOWED UP TO PICK UP CAR ONLY TO FIND OUT THE CAR DID NOT FIT ON HIS TRUCK. WE REFUNDED CUSTOMER BACK IN FULL.
