My experience with SeaLand Auto Shipping

I had a car shipped from Denver, Colorado to a small town in Connecticut on an open carrier in October 2012. Given the emotional and economic downside and the innumerable potential problems inherent in such an undertaking, I have to say that this arrangement with SeaLand Auto Shipping and the trucking company, Verby Transportation, was one of the most positive experiences I have had in a long time. The cost was lower than I expected (the lowest price quoted by multiple carriers), the pick-up was immediate (lucky timing from a major shipping point?), communication with me was exemplary from start to finish, delivery was made to my house in five days, and the car was not damaged. There was even a prompt refund to my debit card due to an overpayment (made partially in cash to driver, Paul) to top off the whole thing. It was a genuine pleasure to deal with both Frank at SeaLand and with Paul the driver for Verby. Hey, the car got dirty en route on the open carrier. Can I complain to someone ;) ?
