Quoted low at $900 and told me that the car would be picked up on following Tuesday or Wednesday. Called two days after it was to be picked up and said that the new price was $1125 ($1000 charge by carrier, $125 broker fee). Left me in a bad spot to find another carrier. Also, failed to tell me the carrier only accepted cash or money order only. When driver arrived on a Saturday AM, I tried to pay with a personal check. I spent 2 hours trying to come up with $1000 cash to pay carrier. Caused alot of stress. Saks had no issue billing my credit card before the car was picked for their broker fee. Since they booked the vehicle below market value, they should have been willing to waive their entire broker fee.

If anything went good, the driver for the auto hauler was very understanding and willing to wait for payment.

The Avg price for an SUV from Las Vegas to Williamsport PA is $1300 if you can find a driver that is going to Williamsport PA. It is not the popular part of PA like Philly or Pitts . All quotes we give says avg price now if it is not a popular city then there are less drivers to do that route for the month . I explained this all to Mike and he agreed to proceed and then I charged him the rsvp/ deposit sent him the invoice and approved of everything .You can not please everyone and at Saks Auto we make sure that every customer accepts the schedule over the phone then we get them locked in with driver / schedule . For the record he is claiming that the driver was late meanwhile 2400 miles takes and avg of 7 days he got it in 6 days . All balances owed to the driver is always cash or any type of certified funds.
