SGT is a Broker. Read your contract. They have an indemnity clause which releases them being held liable. As a broker, SGT solicits the "contract for hire". I had the worst experience from SGT and B Jon Auto LLC (contracted transporter). If negative stars were available, I would have chosen that. My vehicle was picked up Nov 19th and contracted to be delivered Nov 22nd. It did not arrive until Nov 26th. During this time I called SGT and each time they gave different information than I was getting from B Jon dispatch. Each time SGT told me they would call back. Each time, no call back. Their contracted transport, BJon, gave me one excuse after another. Each day was a delay resulting in another day extension. Excuses were weather, didn't have enough vehicles to make it worth the trip, and it had not left yet due to bookings. What they did not realize I have a GPS tracker on my vehicle. All their excuses were complete lies. My advice.... seek a transporter that is not a broker and make sure you have yourself protected for delays or lost vehicles. GET A GPS TRACKER... Bouncie is a good entry level. Real time tracking. A seemingly reasonable $1100 transport ended up costing me an additional $800.00 for a rental and fuel. Beware.
