Shipped a car from IL to CA in August. Once car was picked up, there was no communication or tracking on the car. Was told it would be between 8/9/21 and 8/11/21 and was given one contract showing this. We had to initiate contact to find out when car was going to be delivered. Round and round we went with excuses. Car did not arrive until 8/13/21. A second contract was sent to us after delivery with a different delivery date on it. Used a broker who contracted with SDM. SDM contracted with a separate driver once car reached California. This was a breach of the contract with the broker. Driver promised to be there between 7 am - 8 am but WAS OVER A HALF HOUR LATE on day of delivery and asked my daughter to travel to a different location (parking lot) than was originally agreed to. SDM agreed to accept Zelle for payment but never informed driver. Driver ultimately took keys back and reloaded car onto trailer and drove off because Zelle took too long to transfer money to SDM. Said he had other deliveries and was late. Daughter had to track the driver down blocks away to get car back. AWFUL.... STAY AWAY. And if you use a broker, make sure they DO NOT CONTRACT WITH SDM!!
