No Communication / No-Show

I really hate writing negative reviews, especially when my initial interaction with RoadRunner was quite smooth. Unfortunately, that's where it stopped. I currently have a paid-in-full booking for transport from CA to NE. Prior to booking, I did express to our agent that delivery had to be on a Saturday or Sunday as that is the only time the receiving party can pick up due to their work hours. Carrier was supposed to arrive on 2/9 and was a no-show. I immediately contacted RR CS (via chat as you can NEVER get through on the phone) as they also did not supply an update via email or text like they claim they will. My chat was relayed to Dispatch who informed me the carrier was now going to pick-up today, 2/11 (car is supposed to be in NE on 2/13) and still nothing. As I type this, I'm continually put on hold and disconnected. Online chat isn't helpful. They said "Carrier could be stuck in traffic or delayed with pick ups and deliveries. If not picked up today it will be tomorrow." In both online chats, there is no "I'm sorry let's find out what's going on" etc. We get that delays happen, that there's a shortage of drivers with certain carriers, but the lack of follow-up and accountability is beyond frustrating. Considering that I now have taken two days off of work to sit around and wait for the carrier to show up. Right now, I have zero confidence in the assigned carrier and RoadRunner Customer Service, and will likely just drive the vehicle ourselves. If our carrier or RR should connect with us personally in the next few hours, I'll update my negative review. If not, I will be expecting a full refund upon cancellation.
