Customer service was not exceptional

The customer service and communication between myself and the road runner team left a lot to be desired. The vehicle was picked up Thursday evening, for a 6 hour commute from Tucson, At, to Las Vegas, Nv. I was told the transport crew would spend the night at the origin location, and deliver the vehicle Friday afternoon. 6pm Friday comes around, I do not have a car, so I reach out to roadrunner directly to inquire the location. No answer. Around 7pm I get a call from the transporter requesting a Saturday delivery, which I agree to as I felt as if I didn’t have a choice, I feel if a timeline was promised, and paid for, it should have been met, or pricing should have been adjusted to account for the delay. Maybe I am hyper critical as I would as a logistician for nearly a decade, but that is how I feel. I was beyond disappointed when I reached out Friday evening for assistance and no one answered the phone, nor returned my calls. My car did arrive safely, a day later, but it is the principal. Clear communication, and meet established deadlines.
