Had to cancel my flight back home

Contracted with Roadrunner on March 12 for a pickup on April 6. I understood there could be a delay of 24 to 48 hours in making pickup, so I booked a flight for Friday April 9. After the pickup was missed, for the first time, I'm told the pickup could be up to a week late. All I got were canned apologies, and assurances they were "diligently" working on my "urgent" request. By 12 noon April 8, I had cancelled my flight, and by 5 PM April 9, I cancelled my contract. Thanks for nothing.
