I was told by the company that my driver would call an hour before he picked up my car and an hour before he dropped it off. He actually called me the day before he picked up my car to give me an idea of what time he would be calling and what time he would be picking up the car. Day of, he called when he was an hour out. When he arrived, he spent 30 minutes noting every detail of my car and being extremely thorough. He then loaded my car on his truck and 7 days later I got a call from him letting me know that he might either be there that night or the following morning. He called me that evening to let me know he would be there in the morning and approximately what time he would call. Next morning I got a call, met him 30 minutes later at a truck stop (he couldn't get close to my drop off location due to the size of the roads), and he had already unloaded my car when I got there. I checked my car, there were no damages, I signed off on the car and drove it home. Easy peasy. This whole process went so smoothly considering I was moving and had loaded my car with all of my possessions. Everything inside was intact and unmoved. Easiest, most secure way to move across the country if you ask me.
