I just thought I'd like to post that I had an extremely positive experience with Linda and Jeff at River City Auto Transport. I contacted them early on in the process of shipping my car, well before the car was ready to ship, and they carefully walked me through the process of shipping a vehicle. To be honest, I'd been skeptical of many of these services. I'd been warned that some of these companies make promises they can't posssibly keep, which you don't learn about until AFTER the deposit is paid. But River City was honest and upright from the start. They gained my trust and did not let mem down. Here's my story: On the day that my car was finally ready to ship, just three days before Thanksgiving, I called Linda and gave her the news. I said, "By any miracle do you have a transporter leaving Houston today?" She said, "Let me make a few calls." An hour later she called me to say, "Yes. All we need is the pickup address of your car." Just a few hours later my car was on the road to California. And best of all, despite highways full of holiday travelers, my car arrived at my doorstep in Northern California, in perfect condition, just 30 hours later. Unbelievable!
