Dishonesty and Poor customer service

I was contacted by Rite Way and I told them I already had a carrier working on moving my car. They insisted that they were more reliable, bigger and better. They convinced me to go with them even though they were quoting me more money than my other carrier. Once I signed their "econtract" though, their attidute seemed to change. Because there was short notice to get the car moved, they asked if they could try to see if they could pick it up right away (Thursday afternoon at this point.) So I contacted the dealership where the car was and they said I could have it picked up at any time and didn't have to wait until Monday. I emailed that information back to Larry at Rite Way on Thursday. I called to follow up on Friday afternoon and quickly realized that Larry hadn't read his email. So they were doing nothing to move the car. They contacted me on Monday saying they had a driver. This was the day I was originally planning for pickup, so I was very happy. They said that I needed to cancel my order with the other company I was working with before I could proceed. The first company called me and told me they had a driver who could pick up the car in 3hrs. I cancelled wth them as Larry had also told me he had a driver. It turns out the driver Rite Way had found couldn't pickup the car for three DAYS! Not hours, DAYS. And on top of that, the carrier wanted more money. Larry tried to make it seem like it was no big deal "It's only $50" and it WAS only another $50. If they could have picked up the car on time, I'd have paid it without hesitation. But to be delayed by 3 days, and completely miss the deadline that Larry had understood was highly important to me AND that he had agreed to, I was not inclined to pay more for worse service. I wish they had explained that I needed to be working with only one carrier as not only did I not get my car moved with them, they prevented me from moving the car with the first carrier too by lying to me about the status of their driver. I was very dissapointed with Rite Way and will not be contacting them in the future.
