My granddaughter's car

I already had had one terrible experience in trying to get my granddaughter's car to her at college in New York, so I was very suspicious of the whole process. A 1 on 1 auto transport is one NOT to use.
Rite Way guaranteed they would have the car picked up no later than a Monday and deliivered no later than the following Friday. They had me fired up because they told me Sunday pickup and a delilvery the following Thursday! A 1 on 1 had already cost me over a week in delays.
Well they did not show up on Sunday, and did not show up on Monday. I was feeling pretty bad, but they did keep me informed about the problems the truck was having that put him late to my location. The truck finally arrived around 7:30 PM on Tuesday! I knew the guy had 2 more cars to pick up in Louisiana before he could leave for New York, so I knew they would not be able to be it to my granddaughter on Friday.
Somethingelse really bothered me.......the driver COULD NOT SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH. HE WAS FROM CUBA!! The next thing that bothered me was that I was having to pay the driver cash upon PICKUP rather than delivery! The driver DID NOT KNOW I was going to pay him at pickup even though I had told the office, AND he DID NOT HAVE a receipt book. I wrote out a receipt on the original bill of lading and the copies and gave him the money. He could not communicate with me, but he could count American money! Anyway, he got out of there after 8:30 PM and I was not really happy but at least it was gone.
To my great pleasure, AND surprise, the car was delivered on Friday........so with all the stress, everything came out fine. BTW, I was worried for my daughter's car, but when I saw the 2012 Porsche Cayenne Tourbo on top, I felt much better. All and all, a very successful experience.
