I work in the customer service industry for a company that does over $200 million a year in gross revenue. I know how you should treat a customer.
I purchased a truck on E-Bay in CT. I live in CA. I looked on the internet and saw that Ridemovers has a nice site. On Friday 10/7 I contracted them via e-mail and fax to move my truck. They took my $155 deposit through paypal. The problem that I had was the man who sold me the truck was moving out of state, so time was of the essence. I called on Saturday and left a message to find out when my truck was going to be picked up. I called again on Sunday. By Monday afternoon I was getting a little concerned that no-one had returned my call so I sent an e-mail. I called and left messages again on Tuesday and Wednesday(sometimes 4 or more calls a day). Thursday morning I left a message saying that if someone didn't call me back, I wanted a full refund and was going to take my business elsewhere. Which I did. For good measure, I called again on Thursday afternoon and finally spoke with Teresa again. She said she was sorry and would issue a full refund. Yesterday 10/27 I got 1/2 of my deposit back. I immediately called Teresa at Ridemovers to ask why. She LIED and said that I didn't leave all those messages and they didn't get a chance to find a carrier. I have the cell phone records to prove it. They took my money and didn't make contact for 6 days! Who knows how long they'd have waited if I hadn't left a threatening message. And I hate having to do that. They are thieves and Teresa is a liar. I was wronged and I want my money back!

Roy, We responded to every call that we received from you. And as far as us being thiefs, we refunded your deposit the day you requested cancellation. We have many happy customers, unfortunatly we have to schedule according to availability in your area. Sincerely, Teresa Ridemovers, Inc.
