95 mile trip from New York City to Monticello NY.

A TV show wanted my Bill Thomas Cheetah in NY City. They arranged for Reliable Carriers to pick up the car in Anaheim, CA on Sept 21 and deliver to NY City on Sept 26. Their driver picked up the car as agreed on time. He delivered it on time in good condition. The driver was knowledgeable and overall excellent.The TV show had scheduled the Cheetah for pickup the next day Sept 27. While in NY City I was invited on Sept 25 to bring the Cheetah to the Art in Motion Concours d'Elegance. There was to be NO CHANGE in time or place for Reliable to pick up the Cheetah in NY City. It needed to be delivered to the Monticello Motor Club in Monticello, NY (95 miles away) by October 6, 2017 (9 days later). It then needed to be picked up in Monticello after Sunday Oct. 8, 2017.
Damon Sewell knew that I had NO choice except to ship the Cheetah on Reliable. I was over 2700 miles from home and my car was in Reliable's trailer. $ 1,600 for a 2 hour drive is NOT the way to make a happy customer.
I would say that Reliable Carriers drivers took excellent care of my Cheetah and did their job. Damion Sewell took advantage of me when I had no other options.

With all due respect to Mr. Yeakel's comments- Reliable Carriers Inc. key element as an industry leader in the specialized automotive transportation is communication. Mr. Yeakel asked for a change in destination and Reliable Carriers Inc. provided the service request. Prior to providing the service request, Mr. Yeakel knew in advance the fee for service and agreed to the transport. Reliable Carriers Inc. is not a local towing organization and could not store the vehicle for nine (9) days- the transporter assigned to Mr. Yeakel’s vehicle had other customers scheduled to pickup and deliver. Reliable Carriers Inc. adapted to the last moment request and delivered the vehicle safely to the Monticello Motor Club. Kind regards, Damon Sewell Reliable Carriers Inc. Account Sales Manager
