My employer (USAA) outsourced to Cartus who outsourced to Reindeer who outsourced to another party who outsourced to yet another party. My sports car arrived on a landscape trailer and had extensive damage - the tie rod was bent and had to be replaced and there was body damage that did not exist prior to transport. Total repair bill $4,500. Nobody accepted responsibility so I had to file a claim with my insurer. Two years later, I find out that the kid who drove my car from Chicago had me sign both a paper bill of lading and apply my signature to his phone to capture the acceptance electronically. What he actually applied my signature to was a completely different bill of lading which claimed my auto had body damage that was extensive and did not exist. Reindeer did absolutely nothing to try to resolve this matter. The entire experience was truly criminal.

Lori, I am sorry to hear you are still experiencing issues with your vehicle. Reindeer was unfortunately unable to honor your claim following the transit of your 2010 Volkswagen EOS from 2018 due to the length of time between delivery and reporting. No damages were reported until 20 days after delivery. The mechanical soundness of the cars is not inspected at pickup or delivery. I am sorry we could not honor your claim based on these factors.
