Nightmare of epic frustration ... do NOT do business with this company. Booked with them several weeks in advance with a very specific timeframe and was assured my job would be taken care of ... no problem. Quoted $350. I called a few days before job to confirm everything was on track and was assured that it was all set. Supposed to pick up car on the 9th ... no one showed up ... called mid-afternoon ... blew me off with promise they would pick up the morning of the 10th. Morning of 10th ... no one showed up ... called around 11:30am and they said someone would be there in next two hours ... 2.5 hours passed ... nothing ... called again ... blew me off. Called my furniture moving company who had recommended them to report what happened and suggest they not recommend in future. He called them and they called me immediately ... promised they would fix it ... and admitted they had not been able to find a driver willing to do the job yet (WTF??) but that they would resolve the problem immediately. Four more hours passed ... nothing. Tried to call again and no one would answer their phone. Two more panic stricken hours passed ... finally got someone to answer the phone ... blew me off with excuses about how problematic my job was and that no driver wanted it and that if I called another broker they'd tell me the same thing and so on ... despite all the assurances when I booked weeks before that this would be an easy stress free move. Late on the night of the 10th (after 9:30pm) they called back and said they found a driver willing to do the job on the 11th (my deadline day it HAD to be delivered on) but it was going to cost me $600 instead of $350. Managed to negotiate it to $550 ... complete rip-off ... but they knew I was in a dire situation by that point and they could rip me off ... and did so with impunity. Driver did complete job on 11th after that, but Regal Auto Transport's role as broker was 100% epic fail of communication, price, punctuality, honestly, and integrity. Absolutely worse experience ... never use this company!!
