I found Red Carpet on the internet along with several other auto transport brokers and asked all of them for a quote to get my 1964 Pontiac Bonneville station wagon from Petoskey Michigan to Northern California. Petoskey is way up north in Michigan, far off the normal routes taken my auto transporters so my expectations weren’t very high as to finding a reasonably priced transporter. Most brokers wanted an extra $250 to pick up my car over what it would have been from the Detroit area. Red Carpet offered to do it for close to the Detroit price so I contracted with them.

My contact person, Cheryl was in touch with me every few days after the order was placed to give me an update. After a week had gone by, she decided to reduce her broker fee in order to offer more money to potential transporters. It worked. Within a few days, she had a driver that was willing to pick up the car but he wanted a little more money than she was offering so she asked me to split the extra $100 with her which I gladly did. A week later, the car arrived in the same shape it left Michigan. The driver was friendly and helpful in meeting me at a place close to my home where he could unload the car and negotiate his huge truck.

All in all, it was a very good experience and I can’t say enough about Cheryl. Great gal and great company.
