Minor Problem

My car was transported from Georgia to California. I was very pleased that it only took Amber (the customer service rep) one day to find a driver to pick up my car from Georgia. I have to say that she was also very friendly and profesional on the phone. Even though the driver arrived 1 day earlier than expected, he would not deliver my car to my home. He said that if I wanted my car delivered to my home it would take an extra two days. He claimed that his truck had broken down. I had to drive out 4 miles to pick up my car. I called Red- Carpet and told them that I was going to discount $20 of the total price because the agreement was door-to-door service. Amber said that was fine and that she would contact the driver. When I got to the driver, he would not release my car until I gave him the full amount. I had no choice. I called Red- Carpet again but this time Amber was "out" instead I was forwarded to Tony, the manager. After I told him what had happened he said that I would be refunded for $50. My credit card shows they credit me only $23.

Martha, Im glad I was able to secure a carrier for you so quickly and get the ball rolling. It is unfortunate that you had a less than pleasant experience over on the truck driver end. I do not think that should be a reflection on me though as I feel that I provided 5 Star service to you. Sometimes vehicles are not always reliable and things can happen, such as break downs. I definitely did not confirm for you to deduct money from the driver and I absolutely would not do so without confirming with the driver. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding as far as that is concerned. At any rate, I'm glad you were able to receive your vehicle even faster than expected and that the issue was only minor. I was not aware of the refund you were to receive, but if there is an issue with it, please give me a call and I will be SURE to issue the full amount that was expected. Amber Washington 602-438-4644
