Poor communication but good delivery

Communication before the pickup was a bit lacking. It would have been nice to have some assurance prior to the pickup window that everything was under control. Rather, I had to call them for each of the first 3 days of the window just to check that they would in fact be sending a carrier. I was getting worried that they had quoted too low and were just going to abandon the job. At no point did they ever call me, even after they finally did contract with a carrier. Turns out they did send an email, even though I told them I would be on the road with no access to email.
However, when they did finally pick up on day 5, delivery was quick and at a much better price than anyone else offered. Overall the service was good and I would use again, they just need to work on improving communication prior to the pickup.
