Purchased a 2012 Mercedes Benz about 2 months before we were to move from Kansas to California so you might imagine our concern when shipping the car. We first got quotes from several companies advertising extremely low rates. While attractive, we started to figure that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. The funny thing is that even these cut rate companies will tell you that. But if you look at their ratings on the Better Business Bureau website, they usually have "F" grades and numerous unresolved complaints.

After reading transportreviews.com, we decided to go with a 5 star company and immediately made contact with several of them. I felt more at ease when talking with Tige Yeargin of Red Carpet than anyone else. He answered every question I had and in retrospect, was spot on with every single one of his answers.

Tige really came through for us when, at the last moment, the assigned driver had some issues and could not pick up our car. At that point, we were about to drive the car ourselves to California. After a lot of reassurance, Tige quickly found another driver who picked up and dropped off the car as promised. While you can't expect a car to be on an open transport for that distance and not get dirty, there wasn't a scratch on the car!

We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Tige and Red Carpet!
