Tamara gave me a detailed explanation of the auto-transport business. From the subsequent experience, the more one pays... the sooner it moves. Red Carpet didn't push me to increase my payment, so the landcruiser sat for a bit of time. I raised my rate and the rig moved later that day. In short, kudos to Red Carpet for not being pushy.

The driver they hired was fine... a young Russian kid who arrived several days ahead of schedule. Very helpful guy, especially since the battery had gone dead in the rig.

I'd use Red Carpet again.

Glad we were able to get the car picked up 6 days after the order was placed. Adding more money to entice a carrier is what was needed especially since the states we were transporting the car has little demand for cars to be shipped.
