I chose this company because of its wonderful 5 star rating. It appeared to have great reviews and happy customers. I know bad things happen sometimes so I'm not going to say the company is horrible, I'm just going to say that I had quite an unfortunate experience that really made my move from California to Florida terrible. My flight was leaving on December 9th in the morning. I had called Red Carpet around November 25th to schedule pick up or my vehicle. They even gave me a WHOPPING $50 discount because I'm active duty military. They ensured me that it would be picked up at least a week prior to my departure date so it be would arrive in Florida early enough for me to have transportation to my new job. The first day they were supposed to come was a Thursday. Wednesday morning I get a call from a Hispanic gentleman that spoke not a word of English, but he new how to say "on my way, 45 min". They were not supposed to come until Thursday so I was not in the area, I had to call red carpet and have them tell him not to come. They tell me the driver will be there Thursday. Thursday no show from the driver, and no call from red carpet. I called on Friday and they where "shocked" no one showed up and told me they would call me back. Never got a call back. I called hours later to see if they had anyone else coming, and I was told that the driver was having "mechanical issues" and his truck needed repair. Okay, no biggie, stuff happens. The driver himself calls me and tells me that his client never showed up to drop off his vehicle, that's why he was a no show. So which one is it..?? broke down vehicle or no show client? OK no biggie. The driver will be here Saturday morning. No show Saturday, they call and say they will be there later around 9pm, no show, no call. I call red carpet but they're closed (or not answering) until Monday. Finally get someone, they say driver will be here tomorrow (Tuesday). No show, no call Tuesday. I call red carpet, they say they have no idea whats going on, call the driver. I call the driver he says "Yeah you got the charger right? I'm not going to be there till Thursday". I need my vehicle to physically be in Florida by Sunday the latest ( Red Carpet knows this) so I call back and ask if they have anyone that can come sooner. The drivers boss (Deck Logistics dispatch) calls and says that they use "tandem" drivers so if they pick up the car Thursday it will without a doubt be there Saturday. Thursday rolls around, no show from the driver again. Now I'm pretty frustrated, but I politely call the driver to see where he is. He says he will be there Thursday night by 10 and that THERE IS NO WAY he will be in Florida by Saturday, even with two drivers it takes more than 4 days. No show, no call again. So finally I get someone on the phone, another guy that doesn't speak English. Thankfully my father in law does and I put him on the phone, the guy says he will be there FIRST THING in the morning. Never showed up again. So in the end, no one ever shipped my vehicle, and it took almost 6 weeks to get my deposit of $150 back. By that time I was on the plane and actually had to pay someone to physically drive my car across the country. So it added 2300 miles to my car and I had to get a rental to get me to and from work when I got to Florida; but hey, at least it got there. I would never use this company again, by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced, but everyone has their own experience maybe yours will be better.

Red Carpet Auto Transport; ashley@redcarpetautotransport.com; 602-438-4644; Amanda, I do apologize for the unfortunate events that transpired with your transportation. Unfortunately these things do happen from time to time with drivers that tell us one thing and tell the customer another, its just the reality of the industry. In regards to us knowing that your car must be in Florida by a certain date, that is just something we do not promise, for the simple fact that we cannot guarantee dates as there are a million factors that come in to play such as weather, mechanical issues and traffic to name just a few and, we plainly state this in our Terms and Conditions. I am sorry for your experience, and wish you the best of luck in your new station. Thank you, Red Carpet Auto Transport
