Recon was great to work with. I was a little anxious about the shipping process going smoothly, had read a lot of stories about shipments that went badly - damaged cars, late pickups/deliveries, etc. The first shipper I talked to had positive reviews and my impression from talking to them on the phone was good, but they wanted a signed contract and money before they would commit to a delivery schedule. I was also told that, because of the size of the vehicle, I might have to wait at least a couple of weeks for the pick up. Recon, on the other hand, asked for a portion of the payment only after the car had been picked up, and the rest on delivery. That seemed like a more reasonable policy. They also told me the van would be picked up within a week. They came through too, and the vehicle was picked up 4 days after I placed my order (I called Thursday night and the van was picked up early Monday). I dealt with Jeremiah, the owner, who was totally professional, picked up the phone every time I called, and kept me posted with the progress of the delivery. When I emailed I always heard back immediately (usually within a couple of minutes!). He gave me the cell number of the driver too in case I needed to check in with him. The transit time was reasonable considering the van was traveling from Sarasota to Seattle, and, most importantly, it arrived in good condition.
Great company - I recommend them.
