I recently signed a contract with RCG Logistics to broker transport of a car I bought in Virginia down to Georgia where I live. After three weeks of unreturned phone messages and emails, along with a couple of times where I was actually able to get through to someone who promised that my car would be shipped soon, my car is still sitting in Virginia and my patience has run out. Not once did they try to reach out to me to let me know how things were going. At the outset they let me know that it would likely be after New Years before a truck would be available, and that was perfectly reasonable due to the holidays. Well, we’re 2½ weeks past New Year’s now, and nothing but silence. I can’t even engage other transport companies right now because they either won’t work with me or want to inflate their quotes while RCG has my car listed on whatever auto load board they use, and I can’t get in touch with them to cancel my contract! I am at my wits end with them.
