Well, I liken car transporters to Carneys so I was very suspicious and tentative to hire a transporter to pick up my car all the way in Baltimore and send it to California. My advice is to shop around! I got so many calls from so many 'sales' type people.
Chris from Quality Car Move was the exception. Nice guy, always reachable, always called me back, always told it like it is. Seems like a solo operation but I like that because I didn't have to go through many people to get an answer. Even during New Years and Christmas he was around. Very reasonable charges. Funny guy too!
I trust this company and recomm end his services.
