Went with this broker since they sounded reputable and the price was competitive. Once they got our deposit, communication stopped. They advertise one driver, one truck. Driver who picked up our cars called us when he was ready to load our cars. Was supposed to give us at least 30 minute notice. He drove three blocks from our house and told us we had to drive our cars down and walk back. He assured us he would be the driver. Cars were picked up in NY and being transported to Nevada by Sun Carriers of Brooklyn, NY.

We never got updates on our delivery date. Were told it would arrive on a Monday. Never heard anything. Had to call driver, only to find out he wasn't our driver after all. His 65 year old father was driver. He said cars would arrive on Tuesday and would call 60 minutes before arrival but it would be no later than 5pm. He gave me his word. Tuesday comes and goes. No cars. Called again. He said his driver (father) but was old and needed to rest. He was two states away and he assured me the cars would be here Wednesday by 8pm. We explained that we rented a car based on the promise our cars would be here by Monday. The company owner said "just extend your rental". I told him not only did we not want to pay for extra car rental, but not having our cars was preventing me from starting my new job. His answer was "rent another car".

No surprise, Wednesday comes and goes, no cars. We call again and leave messages. No reply. We call again and he tells me his father will be here at some point on Thursday and will call 30-60 minutes before he arrives. I told him we would meet him at the gate of our community and he should pull in to a very large, open parking lot.

He never called ahead, but called once he was here. He parked across a busy 4 lane street. We had to cross the street in the middle with no crosswalk or lights. He had already begun to offload our cars. Water was dripping off the cars and there was water inside as well. Both cars were coated with thick, sticky mud. We were not able to inspect the cars due to the amount of dirt and mud on them. Also, the leather seats in one car were ripped through.

The driver did not speak english and could not communicate other than say he would call the police and have our cars towed if we did not pay him immediately. I called his son and explained I wanted to inspect the cars and drive them into our parking lot to make sure there was no damage. He refused. We did it anyway and we had to call the police because of the threats being made by the owner of the company. The owner kept claiming one car was older and damage was not his fault. He accused me of not wanting to pay because I didn't have the money (which I did have). After arguing and standing out in 105 degree weather for hours, I paid him minus the extra car rental fee.

After examining my Toyota, I saw the passenger side mirror was coming loose and it actually fell off the first time I drove it. We have to get this repaired plus hand washing and detailing of both cars, because the thick mud would not come off in a regular car wash.

I called Q auto transport 4 times and they never called back. They keep sending me emails saying they will pay me $50 for my troubles, but I have to sign an agreement not to write a bad review. What the heck? They promised to be an intermediary if I had issues with the carrier. Their website says they are insured but what are they insured for? They still haven't gotten back to me and I'm totally frustrated. I would not recommend them or Sun Car Carriers.
