I really, really wish I read the reviews on this site prior to choosing Prolux. Scott Long talks a good game. He has a lot of confidence and all the right answers you need to hear to choose them. Unfortunately, Prolux contracts out their transport to other companies so you really have no idea of what will happen to your car.

In my case, the car was picked up more than 2 weeks late and delivered 6 weeks later (I was promised 5-7 days, door-to-door service in writing). During that time, the transport company lost the truck. "Lost the truck", you say? How could that happen? Good question, but they did. For a period of 5 days, nobody knew where the truck and driver were. I was told first that the driver re-routed it, then told that he took it back home to Florida, and then finally, that it was in the custody of the New Jersey state police and that they would fly a driver out "next weekend". Apparently, the driver dropped a wrench on the fender of a Ferrari Enzo, caused over $20,000 of damages, and quit. Apparently, the damages were going to come out of his paycheck. They had no good answer for me when I asked why insurance just doesn't pay for it.

The vehicle eventually arrived, 6 weeks late after countless phone calls and emails later. Yet they didn't bother to deliver my original factor bumper or windshield with it. I was told it would be delivered next week, by FedEx if necessary. Here it is, six months later, and the parts haven't been delivered. I've heard countless excuses why they didn't deliver them (the latest was that they were three blocks away but my wife was "mean to them" on the phone so they didn't feel it was safe to drop them off. The truth was that the driver asked my 100-lb wife to walk to the truck and carry 200 lbs of equipment by herself the three blocks to our front door).

Still skeptical? I've filed a lawsuit in Cook County for over $9,000 to cover my shipping costs, damages, and replacement costs of the parts they didn't bother to deliver. I will be posting the full court documents online as soon as this is resolved.

Car owners - look elsewhere. This company is nothing but trouble.

We brokered this Load to Gran Turismo and we refunded Richard's card months ago. His car was delivered along with his parts. His car was valued at 2,000.00 and He wants 10,000.00 We are sorry this has happened but we have done everything in our power to make this right. He just wants to profit, sue, & argue.
