Transporting your car can be troublesome and you end up anxious about finding the right movers. When you search online, you get hundreds of email with various quotes. It is difficult to choose the right movers. Jim from professional movers contacted me based on one such search. He explained the whole process of the transportation process works and the options that I have. The quote provided was higher that other quotes that I received.
Since my trip details were not finalized, I could not confirm the dates in advance. However Jim managed to arrange a pick up within 3 days and the car was delivered at the destination in 8 days. Since I was relocating, I did not have a fixed address, they provided me with the phone number of the truck driver The truck driver was flexible to deliver the car to my hotel.
There were only two minor problems – 1) the truck driver was not very good with English, It took about 30 mins to explain the location & address. 2) the car was delivered extremely dirty which is understandable as the car was transported in a open truck. In order to examine the car and I needed to clean it up. I used the gas station car wash next to hotel.
