THIS COMPANY IS A BROKER. I paid 140 for them to find a carrier who had his own truck. I had to pay $300 to the carrier upon delivery. He wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he performed okay. I got quotes ranging from $625-$550. When they offered the 440 I was sold. Please keep in mind I was shipping my old car to my brother in TN as a gift. I didn't really care if it got there without a scratch. If I did, I probably would have paid $550.

The carrier guy called the same day I agreed to the quote and said he would be there the next day between 8-9 a.m. At 9 a.m. I called his cell and asked where he was and he said he had a flat tire and would be there by 10 am. He showed up at 10 a.m. and I let him deal with my husband. He told my husband he was late because his pickup in Augusta wasn't ready...hmm I thought it was a flat tire.

He told my brother in TN he would deliver the car that night. He didn't make it until the next morning. At least he had the decency to call my brother and tell him he wasn't going to make it right? He delivered the car, but did some damage to his own truck in the process...lol!!

Not a perfect story, but a pretty good one. I think it was well worth the $440 ;0)
