I periodically purchase vehicles over the internet and sell them locally, so I thought I was familar with the entire process.
I found a low mileage Ford Mustang in Coolidge,AZ and decided to buy it and ship it back to my home in OH.
Pride Auto gave me a competitive quote and I have used them before so I immediately placed the order.
I received the email confirmation that the car was on a truck and headed to Ohio, drivers name and phone number included.
The car arrived 5 days later and it had obvious damage to the front end, I immediately called Pride and asked "what to do?"
Chris told me to be sure to make note of the damage on the "Inspection Form/Bill of Lading"
and would I please then fax him a copy, which I did.
Pride immediately responded with a email that was actually a copy of the "Insurance Certificate" for the truck that transported the vehicle, I noticed that Pride Auto was named as a certificate holder/additional insured.
Two days lated I received a call from " Interstate Truckers Insurance " the company that produced the certificate. They instructed me to get a estimate from a "Local Ford Dealer" and fax it over to their claims department.
Obviously I am not happy about the damaged vehicle, however as they said "it can happen" what I am THRILLED ABOUT is how quickly Pride "stepped up to the plate" and helped me "through the process"
