I used their service 8 months back and writing this review late but their customer service experience still haunts me in the middle of night !!
I was getting transferred because of my job from CT to OH and I booked their service 1 month in advance. I was quoted $606 and paid $130 in advance. During the day of the transfer I called them couple of times and got to know that no one is coming to pickup my vehicle. I was surprised to hear them say that no one is coming to pickup my vehicle!! This happened in spite of notifying them 1 month in advance and regularly following up. They said someone can come 2 days after (when I will not be there) and asked me to keep the vehicle on the roadside and to keep the keys in the car but they will not take responsibility if the car gets stolen !!! What !!! are you serious ?!! They were eager to cancel my shipment order and mentioned they will not refund the advance amount of $130 !! Mr Ben Forrest and Mike who were very polite before getting the advance suddenly turned into evil beast and started talking very rudely!! they said "We cannot do anything , its your problem, let me know if you want to cancel" ........ I did not know whether to cry or laugh... I was helpless! I was fortunate to get the number of the driver who was supposed to come after 2 days. I called Mr Adam from Ace Transport (3rd party vendor to Premier Shippers) and requested him to come at the earliest. Mr Adam from Ace Transport understood my situation and was kind enough to come and pickup my vehicle after few hours in the evening. He mentioned that I need to pay $600 to him as that is the standard rate and he has not got any money from Premier Shippers. I end up paying $736 whereas i was quoted $606.
In the conclusion it was a horrified and tensed incident and i was end up paying much more than other good shipping company quoted. These people are here not for doing business but to loot people as much as they can. I would recommend better to leave your car in the Dumpster than to use their service !!!
