Premier Auto Carriers are a bunch of scam artists and bold-faced liars.
First of all my car was picked up 4 days after the original pick up date...some BS about a hydraulic lift gate problem.
When the car finally arrived at it's destination, there was damage to the front bumper cover. The driver had driven it into the loading ramps, gouging the cover, and then tried to hide it with horrible touch up paint (possibly even a marker).
This was an all original 89 GT with 9,000 miles on it. It was stored in a heated garage and pampered beyond belief. Yes, there were about half a dozen paint chips already on the car along with a one inch scratch on the passenger side fender, but that's it.
Their paperwork included all these very minor PRIOR damages, but there was something else on the paperwork too. On their inspection report, noted to both the front and back of the car, were the initials MCU. No where on their paperwork does it explain what MCU stands for. According to the driver, it means MAJOR SCRATCHES UNDERNEATH. He claims that is what he put down to include the new damage to the face of the front bumper. When I asked him to point out the MAJOR SCRATCHES UNDERNEATH he saw on the back of the car, and couldn't do it, he claimed it was probably just a mistake then.
This is obviously BS. The guy took the time to note 4 paint chips on the hood, 2 on the right door as well as a 1 inch scratch on the right fender, but couldn't be bothered to note the 4 huge gouges in the front bumper (supposing it was prior damage as he claims)? The biggest damage on the car and he wouldn't note that specifically?
I called the seller of the car right then and there and he swore up and down that damage was not there when the vehicle was loaded. I also have about 100 pictures of the car prior to being transported as well, and there was no damage to the bumper.
It just so happens the damage to the bumper is consistent with the width of their loading ramps.
Anyways, Brett at Premier said he believes his driver and there is nothing he could do. Go figure.
I asked the seller to send me his copy of the paperwork the carrier left with him on pickup and I asked Brett to send his copy as well to compare it with the copy I was left, all 3 are different. They've added to their paperwork to help cover the damage they created to my car.
